Certified Enneagram Teacher & Coach
Mary Wright, M.A.is a Certified Enneagram Teacher and Coach. The Enneagram, a system based on nine personality “types” is a powerful tool for self-awareness and personal growth. Combining psychology and spirituality, the Enneagram can help us quickly and accurately pinpoint obstacles within our personality that cause suffering in ourselves and in our relationships. Learning and applying the Enneagram helps individuals to better understand their motivations and reactions with astounding clarity.
Education and Experience
Mary completed her training at the Narrative Enneagram School in both the Enneagram Teacher and Enneagram Practitioner programs, studying directly under pioneer, Helen Palmer. She holds her Advanced Enneagram Coach Certification from the Enneagram in Business and is YEC Certified. In addition, she has studied extensively at the Enneagram Institute under Russ Hudson, the Enneagram Prison Project with Susan Olesek, and the Enneagram Center for Transformation and Well Being with Michael Naylor. Mary continuously strives to practice what she preaches by involving herself in ongoing study/personal growth opportunities with notable teachers in the field such as Peter O’Hanrahan, Tom Condon and Katherine Fauvre.
Mary worked as a Certified Addictions Counselor for over 20 years in NJ, counseling addicts and their families in a 12-Step oriented intensive outpatient recovery environment. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Montclair State University in NJ. Mary earned her B.A. from Rutgers University in NJ, with a double major in Psychology and Education.
Mary’s work at CCPC focuses on helping clients identify and work with their Enneagram type. Working with the Enneagram helps clients to identify ways in which their point of view becomes rigid or stuck in automatic habits. Using the tool of the Enneagram, Mary strives to help clients discover unconscious patterns in order to lead more fulfilling lives, enjoy healthier relationships, and connect to true essence.
Because Mary’s work is coaching based and is not therapy, it is best suited for clients who are experiencing overall stability in life and who are seeking to enhance and expand their ways of relating and functioning in the world.
