Counseling and Wellness Services

COVID-19 RESPONSE UPDATE

We are now back open to having in-office meetings with our counselors and we currently have availability for appointments. Please contact us today to set up an appointment.

If you are an existing patient, please contact your therapist directly. If you are a new patient or have questions regarding your appointment, please contact Heather Ledbetter, our Counseling Center Administration, who will be available to take calls, answer questions and assist in getting scheduled, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. You can call 435-649-2260 ext 1 or email her at counseling@ccofpc.org.

If you find yourself in crisis, please call 833-995-1295 or go to the Access Center at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, the Park City Hospital or the Heber Valley Hospital.

We will also be providing some resources, tips and suggestions as to how you can maintain your mental health and wellness during this time. Please check out our Facebook and/or Instagram pages to access these video and written resources.

We have had a lot of questions and requests for information as to “how to talk to my kids/myself” about this epidemic. We have found the article below to be a great resource.

Counseling and Wellness FAQs

What are the costs of counseling and coaching? Expand

It is our desire to offer affordable counseling and coaching for anyone seeking it. Our therapists and coaches rates span from $50-150 per session depending upon training, experience and specialty. We work with most insurance companies and have scholarships available for those who qualify through our application process. Feel free to call our schedulers at 435-649-2260 ext. 1 to learn more about scholarship assistance. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted and checks can be may payable to the Christian Center of Park City.

Is counseling confidential? Expand

All client-therapist conversations are private and confidential. It is also confidential information that a person is even in treatment with a therapist. Information is never disclosed without written permission. There are some exceptions to this: suspected child abuse or dependent adult/elder abuse, if a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person, or if a client intends to harm himself/herself.

How long does counseling take? Expand

How long counseling will take depends on the individual and their specific situation. Some people see improvement in as little as a few sessions, others may continue for months, often with increasing periods of time between sessions. All sessions are 50 minutes long.

We recommend that you follow through with counseling until you have accomplished the goals that you and your counselor discussed at the beginning. If you find at any time that you would like to terminate your therapy, we recommend you schedule one last appointment to discuss your progress and how to maintain it in the future.

What if I need to cancel my appointment? Expand

We have reserved your appointment time exclusively for you. Therefore, any absences or cancellations will be charged the full amount unless you notify your provider at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. If your appointment is on a Monday, cancellations must be made by Friday. Unforeseen emergencies will be considered.

How do I contact CCPC's counseling and wellness practitioners? Expand

Feel free to call our schedulers, Heather and Alma, to learn more about what we offer and discuss the best counselor for your needs. You can reach them at 435-649-2260 ext. 1.
