Food Pantry

For the past ten years the Christian Center has provided the largest food pantry in our community. Last year, we were able to serve just under 24,000 people from Summit, Wasatch, and Salt Lake Counties with fresh, free food.  During the winter months we see the largest need, particularly due to the hundreds of seasonal workers (many who are international) who come to work at the ski resorts.

This Center’s Food Pantry is currently receiving food daily from six area supermarkets including two Smith’s, two Fresh Markets, Whole Foods, and WalMart.  We also receive donations from Windy Ridge Bakery and Deer Valley Bakery. The Pantry also received regular donations from area food drives including the following organizations: Utah Food Bank; Community Action of Provo; Park City Boy Scouts; The Wellness Center; Frontier Bank; My Time Fitness Center in Quarry Village; Park City Academy; Promontory Kids Club; Talisker Employees; RMS Enterprises; Park City REALTORS and Deb Hartley; Turkey Trot 5K Race; each of the public schools in Park City; most area churches; and from many concerned private family donors!  We thank you all for keeping our shelves filled!!

The economic downturn continues to hit many unemployed and under-employed residents very hard and the results are seen in greater pantry demands.
We are open 10 am to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday.  We welcome any food donations dropped off between those hours.  All donations are tax-deductable and we will gladly receipt you for your gifts!
