Department of Workforce Services
For eight years the Christian Center has been a member of the Mountainlands Regional Council for the Department of Workforce Service. Locally we post job listings and contact information for individuals willing to work. We also participate in local job fairs—gleaning information to offer those seeking employment. We offer job leads to hundreds of seasonal workers here for the winter months. Several years ago we implemented the 'Workplace Essential Skills' training as part of our 'HandyHands' initiative. We have hosted the regional council at the Christian Center, and have built strong ties with leaders and employers along the Wasatch Front Range.
