Celebrate Recovery
"Celebrate Recovery" is a Christian 12-Step Support Group Program based on Jesus' Beatitudes. Developed by John Baker and Rick Warren from Saddleback Church, this service has been helping with any number of "Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups" for the past 15 years. Now it is coming to Park City in November, 2009.
The Christian Center of Park City will begin "Celebrate Recovery" on Friday, November 6th, and weekly each Friday thereafter. The evening starts with a light meal at 6:30, followed by a group session with insights and instructions. Following are two break out groups—one for women and one for men. Various needs or dependencies will be addresses at each of these small groups. The evening ends with coffee/dessert at 9:00 PM.
Barbara Boineau will lead the sessions, together with other men and women. Barbara is a clinical therapist with years of experience. The only cost for the program is for materials at $5 per person for the individual workbooks. Call Tim at 435-649-2260 for more information.
